It is only fitting that Paul McCartney play the first concert at Citi Field since the Beatles played the first ever concert at Shea Stadium. The only question was what he would play.

In my opinion, he couldn’t have done a better job. Sure, there were lots of songs left out like his classic “Uncle Albert” but when you’ve done so many songs with the Beatles and solo, there is only so much you can play in 2 hours. All in all, I think he made good choices.
Whether you know it or not, history was made last night, just like it was all those years ago at Shea Stadium.
We’ve lost a lot of great people lately. When Paul leaves this world, it’s going to be a loss heard as far as Venus and Mars.”
